Founder and General Overseer of Grace Abound Church Prophet Effort Vakai Maphosa has described the death of prophet Temitope Joshua founder of the Synagogue Church of all Nations (Scoan) as a gain for Heaven and deep pain for earth.
Maphosa in an interview described Joshua as a philanthropist who has fallen asleep in the hands of the Lord.
“ Heaven has gained and earth is in deep pain. God’s General has fallen asleep in the precious arms of the Lord. A great sign of Assignment accomplished. We say Good night to our Father in The Lord Snr Prophet TB Joshua. Fare thee well there is another fellowship in heaven. Psalm 116:15 Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints,” Maphosa said.
He described the death of Joshua as a dark cloud.
“A dark cloud has befallen the body of Christ following the sudden departure of a great philanthropist, televangelist, esteemed teacher of the Word and great man of God Prophet TB Joshua. A man whose call of God made an impact across the globe through his teachings, humanitarian works, faith healing and prophetic prowess. A man who fought silently his battles in a corner at the realm of prayer. A man whose call was misunderstood by many void of spiritual enlightenment. Journey well my Father in The Lord Prophet TB Joshua. Heaven Has Gained and Earth is in deep pain. The Great General has fallen asleep in the precious arms of the Holy Spirit. The Lord Has called Your Name A great sign of an Assignment Accomplished. Psalm 116:15 Precious In The Sight Of The Lord Is The Death Of His Saints,” prophet Maphosa said.

The popular prophet, sources said, passed away around 2am, hours after he walked to his apartment midway into the service, presumably to get some rest.

Born on June 12, 1963, Prophet TB Joshua died six days to his 58th birthday.

It was gathered that Joshua had walked out of the church to his apartment when he felt uncomfortable during the service that commenced around 6pm on Saturday.
