Gweru based model and current Mr Zimbabwe Davson Takudzwa Luzaine has launched his own fitness show on the national broadcaster the Zimbabwe Broadcasting Corporation (ZBC).
Luzaine said the show Fitness Active which is broadcasted break fast hours is aimed at promoting fitness amongst viewers.
“My show is mainly focusing on exercises to people who are indoors and helping them to transform their bodies into something beautiful,” the 23 year old model said.
The model said doors have since started to be opened following his rise to stardom after he was crowned Mr Zimbabwe.
His popularity has also been boosted by his show.
“Honestly being Mr Zimbabwe has opened a lot of doors for me and I noticed that people get to listen to you only when you have a title,” he said.
Immediately after being crowned Mr Zimbabwe, corporates such as Edgars and Work Foot Lodges amongst others were after his services.
“My show on Zbc has made me to gain a lot of popularity and I’m sponsored by work foot lodge and studio X in terms of gym equipment and I’m really grateful to them for making my show a success,” he said.
Luzaine said his modelling career started in 2018.
“I started my fitness career in the year 2018 at studio X,and in 2019 I decided to compete in some modelling pageants because my body was fit enough. I remember convincing some boutique owners for me to advertise their clothes which was a success because I ended up doing some photo shoots for them,” he said
In that same year Luzaine participated in the Mr Zimbabwe pageant and he took the title
