Contemporary Kwekwe artist Telson ‘Terrybliss’ Migi who fronts Terry&Bliss Band has decided to lift the sombre mood currently engulfing the country due to the Covid-19 pandemic by offering bliss to his fans.
Migi with rising artist Traver Marumisa are set to release a single track ‘Mufaro.’
The veteran musician said Mufaro is a song of hope.
“We are launching a track called Mufaro which actually encourages and gives hope to an almost giving up somebody who has faced so much challenges in life. There is always light at the end of the tunnel,” Terrybliss said.
Migi who has starved his fans for a long time said he is working on an album.
“We starved our fans of the good music they enjoyed from our shows. Now the demand is high from them, they are asking us to stage an online gig. They are not just fans but we have become a family who supports the band with advice. They have vowed to pay as they can for every other online gig we host, just in the interest to support the band financially.”
Migi said the release of the single Mufaro is a precursor of the album to come.
“The release of this single is paving way to the release of an album which is in the cooking pot. We shall belt a song or two from the coming album as well. The band is here to stay nomatter the challenges. We appreciate the support and confidence our fans has shown in us, it is their support that keeps us going,” he said.
Meanwhile, due to economic harships currently being faced in the country, Terry said he is now engaged in online network marketing trade which he said is giving him better financial rewards though he has said music is still close to his heart.
