A 26 year old man from Mbizo Extension was recently stabbed to death by unknown assailants the Midlands Observer reports.
Sources within the police told this publication that the now deceased who has been identified as Arnold Mudzurini was stabbed at night with his body being later dumped at roadside near Mbizo 4 Shopping Centre.
Police have since launched a manhunt for the murderers.
“The body of the deceased was found with several deep lacerations which showed that he could have been,” sources said.
Efforts to get a comment from Midlands’s police provincial spokesperson Joel Goko proved fruitless by the time of going to print as his mobile phone was not reachable.
Meanwhile, the deceased`s family members have pledged to do whatever it takes to find the killers responsible for the death.
“This is something we cannot seat back and watch such misery and tragedy befalling our family. We will also do whatever it takes to find the killers and seek justice,” said Tinodaishe Mudzurini the deceased`s younger brother.
The now deceased was discovered by people passing through the shopping Centre in the early hours lying in a pool of blood.
The deceased was later identified as Arnold Mudzurini as he was carrying his Identification Card on him.
