Gweru based Central Region Soccer League debutants Real BVM U23 have said they are geared up for the competitive (CSRL).
Club Technical Manager James Marime has said the team which enjoys a vibrant junior policy is raring to go.
“We are ready for the CSL. We have a youthful side which we have faith in that it will last the distance,” he said.
Real BVM is mainly comprised of youngsters who are all under the age of 23.
Marime outlined the team’s vision which is anchored in developing players.
“Our core business is to develop players, we have a strong and sound junior policy we have U23, U15 and U17 and this U23 side which has qualified for CSL,” he said.
He said the team plans to take the U17 side to Division 2 in the next season.
“We would want to use our U17 as a feeder to U23 in Division 1 so they will play in Division 2 next season so that we maintaining our presence in all leagues, PSL is a bonus for us like we did this season in league 2,” he said.
Real BVM will be using Mkoba Stadium.
