Father drags son to court over death threats

A Kwekwe man has dragged his son before the accusing him of harrasment, victimisation and threatening him and his wife. 
Patrick Thuzuka pleaded with Kwekwe Civil court to restrict his son,Pelani Thuzuka from visiting the family or setting foot on his premises.

Patrick said his son’s presence is disturbing peace and causing discomfort.

”My home is no longer safe.He came to my home threatening to kill me and insulting me using vulgar,” said Patrick.

He also said if Pelani wants to take his property he can do so but should come with the police officers because that’s where the matter is.

The court has learned that Pelani is in a habit of harassing his step mother since the death of his mother. 

”I admit that I went to his home but only to take my property which includes scotchcart, barbedwire and two cows,”  Pelani told the court.

His father told the court that he wants two cows yet he fully know that the other one is dead.Magistrate Mildred Matuvi ruled that Pelani should desist from damaging his father’s property and should not harass him in any way.

Patrick was granted a protection order against his son.
