A Kwekwe born musician Cozzy Kozile Dube who has made a name for himself in the Australian musical circles is set to drop a prayer vedio Inzwaiwo Kuchema.
Speaking from his Australian base with Observer Style Kozile said his vedio is a prayer to God to remember the less privileged in times of need.
Kozile has been involved in philanthropic activities giving back to the less privileged in Kwekwe.
Speaking of the music video he explained, “Inzwaiwo Kuchema is a prayer to God to remember those who are less privileged. Nherera dzinotambura dzimwe dzinoshungurudzwa nekufunga neramangwana .
In this song I mentioned kuti Peter Dewa akachema baba vake vaenda , Romeo Gasa makamunyradza pakashaya mai vake . Its just a prayer to the Lord our God.”
The Kwekwe born musician is a former. Football player after having played for Lancashire Steel and Bindura United.
In 2019 he traded his boots for the mic and launched his musical career in Afro-jazz, releasing three singles in two months.
He roped in a Zimbabwean artist Carlos Green on the track Matiregerera and Mucha Lauti on the on the song Mudiwa Wangu off his debut album Uchandifunga released in 2019.
On his musical video Inzwaiwo Kuchema he has worked with Sarah Grundmann.
“The music industry is challenging, but if artists produce good music, promoters and sponsors will definitely come on board and assist.
“Originality is key to the success of a any artist worldwide as was the case of successful artists like the late Oliver Mutukudzi, Thomas Mapfumo and Makoomba amongst others,” he told a national weekly.
