A protege to popular flamboyant prophet Passion Java has expressed ambition to represent Mbizo Constituency in 2023 general elections.
Givemore Mutemaringa who is a gospel musician has thrown his hat in the political arena offering himself to the position of the Member of Parliament.
Mutemaringa, famed for his gospel song Tumirai has expressed interest to contest as an independent candidate for Mbizo Constituency.
In an interview with this publication, he said once he gets elected into office he was determined to spread Christian values to the community.
“Once I get elected in the office I would ensure that Christian values are upheld in our community which will enable us to live peaceful with each other,”said Mutemaringa
This he said would bring peace and order in the country.
Mutemaringa who claims to have worked with several political figures stated that the country in it’s current state needed God’s intervention.
” For there to be peace and progress be it economically in any nation God should be at the center of everything,” he said.
Mutemaringa also contested in the last June 2018 elections however luck was not on his side.
” I once campaigned for the MP seat in the last 2018 general elections as an independent candidate but things did not turn out as planned,” he said.
Mutemaringa is also popularly known in the music industry as a video editor and producer.
He also worked with the flamboyant prophet Passion Java as a video editor and photographer
“I am a video editor and producer and I once worked with for Kingdom TV owned by Passion Java and worked closely with him,” he said.
