Shortbase back in the industry

Upcoming artist Tabeth Gunde (25) also known as Shortbase has promised a bomb surprise as she is expecting to release another album this year.

In an interview, Gunde said she had temporarily stopped her musical career as she was concentrating on taking care of her baby but this year will see her back into the industry.

“I was taking care of the baby ndandakambomira. This year is going to be a bomb surprise,” she said.

The Kwekwe born artist who made it clear that she started her musical career in 2015 said she mainly focuses her music on love and factors of life including the pains people go through.

The reggae artist said she also focuses on emotions most of which are a bigger part of her life.

She said she released her first album in 2016 called Ndakusuwa.

The 25 year old who said she discovered her singing talent in her fifth grade disclosed that singing is an inborn family thing to her as her late father was a member of the Zigzag band.

She also said she used to be a member of Madzimbabwe Legacy and  also borneso

” I didn’t study music I’m naturally talented. It’s an inborn family thing because my late father was a member of the zigzag band. I mainly focus on love, factors of life the pains people go through .I deal with emotions most of which is a bigger part of my life,”

” I started doing music as a career in 2015 but discovered my passion when I was in grade 5. I released my first album in 2016 by the name Ndakusuwa,” Gunde said.

Gunde however showed great appreciation for the support she gets from her husband as she made it clear that sometimes society looks down on her artwork.
