The Zifa Central Region Soccer League is set to kick off on March 28-29 2020 but Ivan Hoe FC is in a fix as they are failing to pay up their membership fees for the season.
Ivan Hoe FC the darlings of Kwekwe find themselves in dilemma after failing to pay $47 500 membership fees and $14 000 players and technical officials registration fees before the 28th of February 2020 which was the deadline for old cubs to pay up.
Local football fans and Miro Boys die hard fans are in panic mood since they are not aware of their sponsors position. Bank rolled by gold magnet Mark Baden they finished the season as runners up missing the ticket to the elite Premier Soccer League on the last matchday. In the last two seasons, they managed to compete for the Central Region title finishing on sixth position, with only less than five points from champions.
While coaches and players are busy on the ground preparing for the upcoming season the executive is clueless on how they will raise the money needed.
This publication reached to the Baden family through phone calls and messages but there was no response.
It will be catastrophic for players and the community of Kwekwe at large to lose Ivan Hoe (football matches) this year, as it is now their only source of social life and talent development.
