Avid soccer lovers dream about trailing to the end of the earth to catch live adrenaline pumping action in the elite European Champions League (Uefa) but the majority of them are limited to get the action on their television screen due to affordability.
The dream, came true for Kwekwe based Victor Chitagu who won an all expenses paid trip to Spain to catch live UEFA champions’ final action courtesy of Africa Bet, Mega Bucks Promotion held on Saturday at Kwekwe’s Central Business Shop.
Chitagu (31) is set to join five other Zimbabwean betters in the long track to Spain for the football jamboree.
Chitagu who started betting in 2015 told Observer Sport that he was overwhelmed by winning this huge price.
“For the first time in my life after four years of betting I have won such a huge prize,” he said.
He said he believed he was going to win but not with such a greater margin.
“I myself was not expecting that I was going to get such a huge price for the first time in history,” he said.
“Previously the prizes I have been winning were not satisfying and I was now getting fed up,” he said.
